On this edition of Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards shares a story from Yamhill County, Oregon where Robert Christopher, 28, was given a plea agreement after a gang-related fight that resulted in a triple stabbing. Christopher pleaded guilty to one count of attempted first-degree assault in exchange for dropping two counts of first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon and thus was given time served (3 months in county prison). Christopher was already on probation for an August 2009 conviction for fourth degree assault and has a long criminal history including convictions for third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, assault on a public safety officer, first-degree burglary, third-degree sexual abuse and failure to report as a sex offender, plus more than a dozen juvenile referrals and a term in custody of the Oregon Youth Authority.
