On this edition of Civil Rights Roundup, NRA Deputy General Counsel Stefan Tahmassebi speaks with Cam Edwards about the recent 2-1 U.S. Court of Appeals for D.C. decision that upheld many of the restrictions that were put in place after the 2008 Heller decision lifted the gun ban in the capital. The so-called Heller II case challenged restrictions such as registration requirements and ammunition magazine limitations, and Tahmassebi says that while the decision was not good news for gun owners, some "novel" restrictions have been remanded to lower courts for further review, and the split decision was promising for future litigation.
