Carroll Doherty, associate director for education at the PEW Research Center, joins Cam Edwards by phone to discuss a recent report reflecting that the public's assessment of the accuracy of news stories is now at its lowest level in more than two decades. Moreover, America's views of media bias now match previous lows. Doherty explains that most Americans have said they think the media has some level of bias, and that they are not always reporting complete or entirely factual information.
