The Daily News Egypt recently published an article titled "Triggered by safety concerns, gun ownership on the rise." The article says that since the revolution in Egypt, more civilians are carrying guns for personal protection-especially since the police withdrew from the streets on January 28 and prison breaks and looting broke out. Cam Edwards speaks with Dave Kopel, Research Director at the Independence Institute, about the safety concerns in Egypt and the current international politics that would work against innocent families protecting themselves in these situations. Originally aired 3/24/2011.
