Felon with a 10-year record is now held on five counts, including assault. On today's Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards tells the story of David J. Catalano, a Rhode Island man who, since 1998, has been convicted of at least 16 crimes ranging from disorderly conduct to assault, for which he received probation and minimal jail time. He is now being held without bail on five counts for the shooting of North Kingstown police Officer Travis Maiato and three charges for the death of Clifford LeValley.
