In Canada, Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Conservative Party has been elected to form its first majority government, gaining 24 seats for a majority total of 167 seats. Cam Edwards speaks with Tony Bernardo of the Canadian Institute for Legislative Action who says that, in addition to the election, Prime Minister Harper has promised that in the first 100 days of his office, he will present an omnibus bill that will include the end of the long gun registry.
