Campus Carry Going Strong

Claims of wide consensus against guns on campus are wrong. Brett Poulos, southwest regional director of Students for Concealed Carry on Campus (SCCC), speaks by phone with Ginny Simone about the supposed decline of the campus carry movement. Despite statements by the Brady Campaign and a recent article in the Washington Post claiming that opposition to firearms on campus is solidifying, Poulos points out that his organization's membership has skyrocketed to 46,000. University faculty and administrators have been drawn to the movement alongside students, and the SCCC is currently focusing their outreach on parents and incoming college freshmen.
