Two Lacey Township students received five-day in-school suspensions for posting a picture of a family trip to the range on SnapChat. The Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs sent a cease and desist letter threatening a lawsuit over the policy as violation of the First and Second Amendments. ANJRPC executive director Scott Bach says the story went viral this weekend. Although ANJRPC received no official response to its letter, the school quietly changed its policy while misdirecting attention to a seperate, district policy. Scott reports they have discovered new First and Second Amendment violations involving a student being forced to remove a sticker of a firearm from his car. Originally aired on Cam & Co 03/19/18.
