Despite a multi-million dollar campaign by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company against it, San Francisco voters have overwhelmingly passed a ballot measure that shuts down the vaping industry in the city. It's the strictest in the nation. The Independent Women's Forum's Julie Gunlock says it's a huge mistake. Flavored nicotine vaping fluids help smokers become accustomed to a different taste, making it harder for them to go back to tobacco. There are more than 35 million adult smokers in the United States, and 70 percent of them say they want to quit. For a city known for risk-reduction, it's taken a huge step backwards. Julie also praises Country Time Lemonade for paying the fines and permit fees of kids who want to run a lemonade stand. Originally aired on Cam & Co 06/07/18.
