A new poll from Common Sense Media reports that only one in four children age 10-18 have "a lot" of trust in news media. They are far more likely to trust information from their families. 63 percent said that news made them "afraid, angry, sad or depressed." 70 percent said "most news media have no idea what the lives of people my age are really like." Media analyst Tim Graham from the Media Research Center says that it doesn’t matter what age you are, people aren't fooled by the "merchants of spin." Kids grow up cynical and jaded about the media.
