Rick Ungar joins former RNC chairman Michael Steele nightly on Steele & Ungar on SiriusXM POTUS 124. The Senate confirmation hearings of Neil Gorsuch have begun with Democrats saying that he should never have been brought before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Only the refusal of Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to schedule hearings for Obama nominee Merrick Garland made that possible. Rick says that it was a serious mistake, but what's done is done. Democrats have nothing to be gained except to bring about the "nuclear option," ending the filibuster. Like it or not, the court will have a new conservative justice. Rick thinks that Gorsuch is qualified and focused on individual rights, not judicial activism. Originally aired on Cam & Co 03/20/17.
