Background checks for firearms in Colorado hit a record on Black Friday. 4,779 checks were performed, 400 more than 2016 and 600 more than 2015. Laura Carno of Coloradans for Civil Liberties says it's no surprise. She talks to people every day who are choosing to buy a firearm for self-defense. There is much more public discussion about the issue following new gun control laws passed in 2013. Domestic terrorism has made people think about self-defense as well. Laura also talks about the history and success of campus carry in Colorado. Originally aired on Cam & Co 11/30/17.
