Brad Polumbo: Why Can't I Carry on Campus?

Cam & Co Sponsored by Hornady

Two weeks ago, a friend of Brad Polumbo texted him that her school was on lockdown, fearing an active shooter. He felt helpless. Why? Because the Massachusetts Legislature requires that the University of Massachusetts be a "gun-free" zone. He writes at The Massachusetts Daily Collegian that as a result, he and his fellow students have been stripped of their Second Amendment rights. He says one need only follow the news to understand the need for self-defense. It's a dangerous world out there, including college campuses. Brad finds that those who reacted most negatively to his op-ed have little or no real-world knowledge of guns and gun ownership. Originally aired on Cam & Co 11/30/17.
