Donald Trump's 2005 tax returns show that the president and his wife paid $38 million in taxes on $150 million in income. The returns were released with much ballyhoo by Rachel Maddow, The Wall Street Journal and others, followed by the White House itself. Watchdog.org's Ashe Schow reports that Trump paid 25.3 percent tax that year, considerably more than President Obama. It was an embarrassment for Maddow and other members of the left, who have shifted the narrative as a result. Ashe compares it to Geraldo Rivera's famous Al Capone vault reveal.
