Nicole Sanders, a student at Blinn College in Texas, has filed a First Amendment lawsuit after being told by school officials that she would need special permission to display a gun rights sign, and collect signatures for her student group. The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education is assisting the legal effort. Senior vice president Robert Shibley of FIRE talks about the suit, and its additional challenge to the tiny "free speech area" on campus, a parking space-sized spot.
