Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has signed into law legislation that allows women in domestic violence situations to more quickly apply and receive a concealed carry permit. Gun control group Moms Demand Action has criticized the move, saying that gun ownership for self-defense makes things more dangerous for women. Rick Ector, owner of Rick's Firearm Academy of Detroit, responds to the idea that concealed carry is wrong for women. Further, he discusses an armed citizen story from Philadelphia in which a concealed carry holder defended himself and others when a man opened fire in a barbershop.
