Author Julie Gunlock is a senior fellow and the director of the Culture of Alarmism Project at the Independent Women's Forum. She discusses the case of Danielle and Alexander Meitiv in Maryland. The parents have been found responsible for "unsubstantiated" child neglect by Maryland Child Protective Services. Their offense was allowing their 6 and 10-year-old children to walk home together from a local park. Gunlock says that children must be allowed a larger range than their own homes, and being an overprotective parent can cause more harm than good. Originally aired on NRA News Cam & Co 03/04/15.
