Wisconsin lawmakers have reintroduced a bill that would allow off-duty, retired, and out-of-state law enforcement officers to carry firearms on public school grounds. Jenn Jacques, writing at Bearing Arms, discusses the second attempt to introduce legislation that would increase public school safety. Jacques says that with a police response time averaging 12 minutes, we need armed citizens to able to act in time of need, reducing response time by as much as 80 percent.
