Senior editor of The Federalist, David Harsanyi, has written about mainstream media's coverage of Indiana's new Religious Freedom Restoration Act in, "Hey Media, 'Religious Freedom' is a Real Thing." Noting that the quotation marks around the words "religious freedom" are used by reporters to diminish their significance, he explains that interpreting the law as a license to discriminate is incorrect. The purpose of this and similar laws in nineteen other states is to protect Americans whose freedom is in danger because of their religious beliefs. Originally aired on NRA News Cam & Co 03/31/15.
