Permitless Carry, Senate Bill 347, has passed the West Virginia Senate by a bipartisan vote of 32 – 2. Three unnecessary and misleading amendments were introduced and rejected during the process. The legislation now goes to the House of Delegates. NRA-ILA West Virginia state liaison Daniel Carey says that the likelihood of passage in the House is good, but a great deal of misinformation is around. He explains that the bill does not scrap current law, but rather expands the rights of gun owners. He urges viewers to contact members of the House and ask them to advance the bill expeditiously.
