In Michigan, NRA-backed bills have passed out of the House Judiciary Committee, and are on their way to the House floor for a vote. SB 34 and SB 35 are comprehensive concealed carry licensing reform bills. The "Air Gun Reclassification Package" would redefine the term "firearm" to exclude devices that propel projectiles by gas, spring or air. NRA-ILA Michigan state liaison Dakota says he expects that the House will vote on SB 34 and 35 next week. Both bills have already been passed by the Michigan Senate.
