Crayle Vanest is the Midwest regional director at Students for Concealed Carry, and the assistant director of development for the Students for Concealed Carry Foundation. The foundation has been granted its tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) status, and is planning a "money bomb" for Friday, May 22. She talks about the National Empty Holster Protest taking place this week, and the engagement it brings with students seeking information and understanding. She responds to the notion that Campus Carry would somehow promote "rape culture," and self-reliance through the right and responsibility of self-defense.
