Cherylyn Harley LeBon is a contributing fellow at the National Center for Policy Analysis. She discusses self-defense, and why moms and families need to prepare to defend themselves in time of need. It's not a question of whether an attack will happen, she says, but when. She notes that even D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier has said that when confronted with an active shooter situation, "take the gunman out," rather than wait for a police rescue that will likely come too late. Moms want and need to be trained to use firearms, she explains. Originally aired on Cam & Co 12/04/15.
