In South Carolina, important pro-gun legislation has advanced out of the General and Family Laws Subcommittee, and now moves to the full House Judiciary Committee. House Bill 3025 would replace the state's current conditional reciprocity agreement by honoring Right to Carry permits issued by other states. House Bill 3116 strengthens current law prohibiting the straw purchase of firearms and ammunition from FFLs. Anthony Roulette, NRA-ILA South Carolina state liaison says that HB 3116 is in response to Bloomberg "sting" actions, and would make them a felony offense.
