California attorney Chuck Michel tells Cam Edwards that San Diego County Sheriff William Gore has been turning down qualified applicants and approving friends for concealed-carry permits by creatively defining what constitutes "good cause." Fortunately, the judge in a case to appeal the rulings appears to be ready to subject the county to a strict standard of review, and Michel has issued an amended complaint against the sheriff. California sheriffs continue to take the law into their own hands, and the NRA faces a long struggle to protect residents' right to self-defense. Originally aired 5/18/2010.
