NRA-ILA California State Liaison Ed Worley talks to Cam Edwards about a recent article hailing a gun buyback program in Los Angeles. The program cost $200,000 in taxpayer dollars despite a failing economy and police force cut backs. In other news, the California legislature is reviewing several prominent anti-gun bills. Assembly Bill 1934 would outlaw open carry, and Assembly Bill 1810 would set up a long-gun registry much like the disastrous system in place in Canada. Assembly Bill 2223 would ban lead ammunition in the state. Worley says that Second Amendment supporters should call their representatives and encourage them to oppose these bills.
