Assembly Bill 144, legislation that would prohibit the right of law-abiding citizens in California to carry firearms openly in public, has been voted for favorably by the state Assembly. The bill now heads to the Senate. Cam Edwards speaks with NRA-ILA California State Liaison Ed Worley who explains that voting for this legislation is technically a vote for shall-issue right-to-carry. Since concealed carry is also banned and it violates the constitutional rights of citizens to keep and bear arms, the NRA can and will sue if this bill becomes law. Originally aired 5/16/2011.
