1,200 firearms were seized in a statewide, six-week gun sweep in California from individuals who illegally owned firearms. Many of those who had their guns confiscated had purchased the guns legally but later were prohibited from owning them. Attorney Kamala Harris is using the sweep to promote her bill that would expand the use of background check fees collected by gun dealers to pay for this gun control program. Ginny Simone speaks with NRA-ILA California State Liaison Ed Worley about how Harris's bill would be a misuse of these funds. Originally aired 6/17/2011.
