Attorney explains new brief filed by congressional coalition. Cam Edwards speaks with Paul Clement, former United States Solicitor General and current counsel of record for an amicus brief filed with the Supreme Court by a large bipartisan coalition in Congress for McDonald v. City of Chicago. The brief, endorsed by 58 United States senators and 251 members of the House of Representatives, supports the incorporation of the Second Amendment against gun control laws imposed by the states. Clement defines the concept of incorporation and explains how the Fourteenth Amendment affects judicial interpretations of the Second.
