The Brady Campaign has coined a new phrase to describe ammunition magazines that hold more than ten rounds: "assault clips." In a recent press conference held in Washington, D.C., Brady promoted legislation by U.S. Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY) and U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) that would ban these "assault clips." Cam Edwards speaks with Rachel Parsons, NRA-ILA Media Liaison, who says that not only is the new term completely nonsensical, the legislation is ineffective in stopping gun crimes.
