Panera Bread CEO Ron Shaich has issued a letter announcing the chain's new anti-gun policy. The letter says, "we ask that guns not be brought into this environment unless carried by an authorized law enforcement officer." The backlash to the announcement made after consulting with Moms Demand Action appears swift. A new CNBC poll indicates that 83 percent of participants changed their opinion on Panera "for the worse" because of the decision. Bob Owens, editor of Bearing Arms, discusses the Panera Bread decision. Cam notes that Panera's CEO says it will still abide by state and local laws, and will post no signs forbidding firearms.
