In Florida, the stage is set for a showdown over a bill that would bar doctors and other medical providers from asking children or their parents whether they have guns in their homes. Under the legislation, a doctor could be fined up to five million dollars or face up to five years in jail for violating patients' privacy in this way. Representative Jason Brodeur, the sponsor of House Bill 155, joins Ginny Simone to explain that this bill is important to ensure that families aren't denied medical care just because they own a firearm.
