Columnist Mick Dumke of the Chicago Reader talks to Cam Edwards about the future of Chicago gun control in the wake of McDonald v. City of Chicago. The Chicago City Attorney announced some possible features of a new city ordinance regulating handguns, which might include a limit of one gun per person and a ban on gun shops within city limits. Dumke, who is not an opponent of gun control, agrees with Edwards that Mayor Richard Daley's firearm policy is a political ploy, and he says that it is important for Chicago residents to come up with real solutions to the rampant violence in the city.
