On tonight's Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards reports on two stories. First, Asher Conn of Roselle, New Jersey avoided a conviction for the shooting death of Maurice Barkley when witnesses withdrew statements or refused to testify. Following his release, he allegedly attempted to murder one of the witnesses who did take the stand. And in northern Ohio, Gregory Black was sentenced to less than two years in prison for cutting the brake lines of strangers since the judge chose not to view the action as attempted murder.
