On this edition of Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards shares a story from Cedar Rapids, Iowa where a judge reduced the bond of an assault suspect with a lengthy history of violent crime even though he was warned by several of those present in court that Johnathan Mitchell, 33, was dangerous. Mitchell's history includes several cases of assault causing bodily injury and others involving domestic abuse, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Upon his release on $1,000 (10% of his reduced bond), Mitchell allegedly stabbed Cathy Stickley, a 54-year-old cab driver, to death. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
