Cam Edwards speaks with Mick Dumke, writer for the Chicago News Cooperative, about a recent article he wrote for the New York Times. "City's Restrictive Gun Laws Are Rarely Enforced" explores statistics showing that the city is not prosecuting laws such as the handgun registration law though thousands of guns are coming into Chicago steadily. Dumke says that with only 79 unregistered handgun convictions a year, the streets are no safer: only law-abiding citizens obeying the handgun registration mandate of their own accord are affected.
