On this edition of Hero of the Day, Cam Edwards shares a story from San Diego, California where a retired sheriff's deputy who was working as an Apple Store security guard stopped a smash-and-grab burglary at the store. One of the burglars pulled a firearm on the guard, and that is when he opened fire. Several suspects fled in a car, but crashed into a light pole when the driver died from a gunshot wound to the head. Two others fled on foot and were picked up an hour later.
