NRA-ILA California State Liaison Ed Worley tells John Popp that three bad bills are up for consideration by the Senate. Assembly Bill 1810 would put in place an expensive and intrusive long gun registry, similar to the one that has done so poorly in Canada. Assembly Bill 1934 would ban the open carry of even unloaded handguns, and Assembly Bill 2358 is an adjustment to the ammunition registry already in effect. Worley says that anti-gun activists will try to push all three bills through before the California legislative session ends on August 31, and Second Amendment supporters should contact their representatives immediately and tell them to block this legislation.
