Ginny Simone reports from the United Nations in New York that Rebecca Peters, Director of the International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA), has unexpectedly announced that she will step down from her post after eight years. Tom Mason of the World Forum on the Future of Sport Shooting Activities (WFSA), talks to Simone about how this change will affect IANSA, which is the largest of the anti-gun nongovernmental organizations (NGOs). IANSA will nominate a new director in six months, but Mason advises that supporters of the Second Amendment should not see the resignation of Peters as a sign of weakness in the anti-gun movement that is lobbying for an invasive international arms trade treaty.
