Director of Research at the Center for Consumer Freedom David Martosko, who also runs the website HumaneWatch.org, talks to Cam Edwards about recent news in the world of extreme animal-rights activism. The Center for Biological Diversity announced plans to push for a nationwide ban on lead ammunition, and Martosko says that the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is backing this move. The HSUS is also opposing an initiative to cull the population of Canada geese surrounding New York's LaGuardia Airport, even though the birds are endangering the lives of countless airline passengers. And as San Francisco weighs an ordinance to ban the sale of pets, Martosko points out that the HSUS has begun supporting similar movements in cities across Texas. Originally aired 7/27/2010.
