Director of Research at the Center for Consumer Freedom and blogger at HumaneWatch.org David Martosko talks to Cam Edwards about the recent antics of extreme animals-rights advocates. The Texas Humane Legislation Network (THLN), which is affiliated with the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), is pushing a city ordinance that would ban sales of pets in Austin, Texas. In Wisconsin, the Department of Natural Resources faces criticism from hunters after accepting a grant from HSUS and partnering with the animal-rights organization to produce public service announcements. And in a National Journal article also featuring Martosko, HSUS President Wayne Pacelle explains that while hunting might be part of human nature, we should still not do it. Originally aired 6/1/2010.
