NRA-ILA California State Liaison Ed Worley talks to Ginny Simone about the recent approval of California Assembly Bill 962, which will require purchasers of ammunition to submit to an extensive registration process. Governor Schwarzenegger claims to have signed the bill out of concern for public safety, but Worley says that it will do nothing to combat crime and may in fact cause gun owners to become victims. After the bill is implemented, criminals may break into ammunition retailers and find lists of probable gun owners to rob, while state and federal authorities will be able to harass firearm holders for their own purposes.
