NRA-ILA Alaska State Liaison Brian Judy tells Cam Edwards that House Bill 381 passed by a vote of 32-8 in the Alaska House but is currently stalled in the Senate Judiciary Committee. The bill would protect the rights of citizens to use deadly force to defend themselves while stipulating that they have no "duty to retreat" from a threatening situation. Judy explains that the bill enjoys widespread support in the state, but it needs help to get out of committee with no amendments.
