Armored assault and rescue vehicle on display at SHOT Show 2010. Dave Acosta, developer of the ASRV FIST, speaks with Cameron Gray of Cam & Co in Las Vegas, Nevada about the various features of his invention. The ASRV FIST is designed to deliver law enforcement officers to a scene where a shooter is active and to rescue innocent bystanders or wounded officers. Its features include full armor, gun ports on the sides, a heavy bumper with battering ram mount, and plenty of floor space to seat rescued targets. One unit is currently in use by Utah County law enforcement, and in the past nine months it is credited with having saved four officers.
