Dr. Michael Vickers, a rancher involved with the Texas Border Volunteers, talks with Ginny Simone about the efforts to help secure the Mexican border with advanced motion-sensing cameras. Vickers helped start this initiative 5 years ago to assist and protect the private landowners whose lands were being used as smuggling routes. Within the first six weeks, they had received hundreds of camera hits. Now, the group is using 4th generation camera technology and intends to have 50 new cameras installed in the next month, with a total of 400-500 planned. Vickers says he the cameras will show Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and others in the Obama administration the truth about how insecure the border really is. Originally aired 10/28/11.
