As the new legislative session begins, three major gun bills will go before the California state senate including one pro-gun measure and two that are anti-gun. Senate Bill 313 is sponsored by the NRA/CRPA and would exempt some handguns from "unsafe" testing requirements as well as allowing firearms dealers to sell used handguns. Senate Bill 404, an anti-gun bill, would broaden certain exceptions for handgun safety certificates for former military members. Senate Joint Resolution 10 would urge the president and congress to pursue a variety of strong anti-Second Amendment policies and laws. Originally aired 1/13/2012.
