Cam Edwards speaks with Kristopher Baumann, Chairman of the Fraternal Order of Police, Metropolitan Police Department Labor Committee, about the historically low homicide rate in Washington, D.C. last year-the lowest since 1963. On the other hand, Baumann reports that violent sexual crimes have increased 50% citywide and several murders have already occurred in the new year. In none of the crimes reported since the D.C. gun ban was lifted, however, has a legal, registered gun owner been involved, to Baumann's knowledge. Originally aired 1/3/2011.
