Phillip Harding: Arkansas Universities Prepare for Campus Carry
Although Arkansas' campus carry law went into effect on September 1, state police are still crafting licensing and training for the enhanced concealed carry permit it requires. Schools are holding forums to explain the new law to faculty and to respond to their concerns. Students for Concealed Carry national board member Phillip Harding says neighboring states already have campus carry, but the usual fears and worries are being voiced by academics. He points out that it's the criminals who prey upon students that are the problem. Permit holders carry to protect themselves and others from those criminals. Originally aired on Cam & Co 10/31/17.
