Campus carry has been legal in the state of Texas for two years now, and during that time, participating universities have seen the benefits that can be reaped from allowing responsible students to carry a firearm with them at school. Just ask Lieutenant Amy Ivey of the Texas Tech Police Department. According to Ivey, the law makes Texas Tech a "safer place to live, learn and educate." She also notes that because students have the ability to be armed, the university is no longer a "target of opportunity" for criminals. Today, NRA Carry Guard Lead Instructor and Director of Operations Jeff Houston joins Grant Stinchfield to discuss the impact of campus carry on America's universities.
