Shelby White/Great American Outdoor Show

Highlighting the outdoor traditions that millions of Americans and their families value and treasure.

In Twisp, Washington, cougars have made a well-known presence to ranchers and it's speculated that these animals are starving and looking closer to humans for food. Shelby White, 11 years old at the time, was the only one in her family who had a permit for cougars and immediately came to her brother's aid when the family noticed the animal lurking after him on their property. Then later, learn about the Great American Outdoor Show. Known for its family-friendly experience, it returns bigger and better with an endless list of activities, events, seminars and more. We meet with individuals from the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area to discuss the impact this show has had on the community and how excited they are with NRA's involvement and to ensure this treasured experience continues to be a tradition had.
